The project’s purpose is to vitalize communication between elderly people who live in the Bunkyo district of Tokyo. Bunkyo has the highest population of elderly people, but they do not know enough about each other’s activities. Examples of the project’s initiatives include elderly people sharing housing with university students and holding study meetings. Sharing the activities of elderly people allows their communication skills to be renewed and re-activated. I summed up the activities in a magazine and had it furnished to be read in hospital waiting rooms. Elderly residents of Bunkyo were also invited to The University pf Tokyo for a Meetup with students. I was responsible for the graphic design of the event poster and planning the Meetup.
